  • Dress Code
    • Business Casual:

      For the first floor, men - collared dress shirt and dress pants. For women - appropriate blouses and business casual tops with dress pants or skirts.

      CASUAL:
      Allowed in the Fitness Center, Locker Rooms, Spa, Hotel Rooms and Rathskeller when using the Fitness & Spa Entrance.

      MEN’S ATTIRE - Athleticwear including shorts, tee-shirts and warmup suits. Dress denim with no rips, tears or frays. Athletic and casual footwear. Street clothes or robe must be worn in the lounge dining room. Hats are not permissible indoors. Headbands and bandanas are allowed

      WOMEN’S ATTIRE - Athleticwear including shorts, tee-shirts, warmup suits and yoga pants. Dress denim with no rips, tears or frays. Athletic and casual footwear. Street clothes or robe must be worn in the lounge dining room. Hats are not permissible indoors. Headbands and bandanas are allowed

      Club Casual:

      Required Dress in the historic clubhouse with the exception of lunch and dinner service in The Main Dining Room and stated events-see Formal Attire.

      MEN'S ATTIRE - Collared dress shirts, tailored dress pants including khakis. Polo shirts, and turtlenecks are permissible. All shirts must be tucked in. Dress shoes, loafers; no flipflops, sneakers or sandals.  Hats and overcoats are to be checked at coat check or brought into a private meeting room. In addition, on the lobby and first floor, dress denim that is dark in color (navy or black) without holes, rips, fraying or fading of any kind is permissible. Baggy fitting, cargo jeans, denim jackets and denim shirts are not allowed.

      WOMEN’S ATTIRE - Blouse, business casual tops, dress pants, skirts, dresses or pant suits. Sweaters and turtlenecks are permissible. All pants and skirts must be of a tailored nature. All skirts and dresses must be mid-thigh or longer. Dress shoes, no flipflops. Outfit coordinating dress hats are permissible. All overcoats are to be checked at coat check or brought into a private meeting room In addition, on the lobby and first floor, dress denim that is white or dark in color (navy or black) without holes, rips, fraying or fading of any kind is permissible. Denim skirts and dresses are permissible. Denim jackets and denim shirts are not allowed.

      Formal Attire:

      Required Dress in the Main Dining Room for lunch and dinner service and for all stated events including New Year’s Day Open House, Valentine’s Day Dinner, Easter Brunch and Mother’s Day Brunch.

      MEN’S ATTIRE - Jan 2-Thanksgiving-Collared dress shirt with coat, tailored dress pants. Thanksgiving-Jan 1 and stated events- Collared dress shirts with coat and tie, tailored dress pants. All shirts must be tucked in. Dress shoes. Hats and overcoats are to be checked at coat check or brought into a private meeting room. 

      WOMEN’S ATTIRE - Blouse, business tops, dress pants, skirts, dresses or pant suits. All pants and skirts must be of a tailored nature. All skirts and dresses must be mid-thigh or longer. Dress shoes, no flipflops.  Outfit coordinating dress hats are permissible. All overcoats are to be checked at coat check or brought into a private meeting room.  

      Cell Phone & Electronic device Rules:

      For the sole purpose of NON-VERBAL communication, the use of personal electronic communication devices (smart phones, text messaging devices or other similar devices capable of sending and receiving electronic or text messages, excluding laptop computers, iPad, tablets or the like), is permitted in all areas of the Club. Such use shall be silent, private and discreet and no devices shall be placed on the bar or dining tables. Ringers shall be turned off at all times when in use.
      The VERBAL use of any personal electronic device is permitted only in: Designated phone booths, vestibule outside men’s locker room entrance, hall way outside ladies’ locker room, vestibule outside of the Millard Fillmore Room, Billiard Room, hallway adjacent to the hotel rooms, back of the bowling alley and private meeting rooms with permission of the host.

  • Parking
    • The Buffalo Club offers complimentary parking spaces with entrances on Elmwood and Delaware Avenues. Valet service is provided from November 1st through March 31st.
